The purpose of the LHISD Technology Department is to support instruction and to help students excel by working as a team to provide a stable infrastructure and to effectively integrate technology in the classroom. We provide our teachers and students with the tools they need to learn and grow by delivering quality services, implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring a commitment to excellence.
As the Executive Director of Technology for Liberty Hill ISD, my top priority is providing innovative, reliable, and secure technology systems that support teaching, learning, and operational excellence across our district.
Our team is dedicated to building a technology environment that empowers students and staff to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital world. From maintaining network infrastructure and device management to enhancing cybersecurity and supporting classroom technology, we are here to ensure that every user has the tools they need to thrive.
Technology plays a critical role in education, and we take that responsibility seriously. We collaborate closely with educators, administrators, students, and families to implement solutions that are both forward-thinking and user-friendly.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to keep Liberty Hill ISD connected, secure, and future-ready.

Liberty Hill ISD follows all applicable federal and state laws to ensure the safety, privacy, and protection of our students in digital and educational environments. These regulations include:
Are student Chromebooks filtered at school and at home?
Who decides what content is filtered?
What happens if a student accesses an inappropriate site?
Information Services oversees data collection, integration, and reporting from all district systems. This team ensures accurate reporting to state and federal agencies and provides data access and insights to staff, students, families, and the community.
Liberty Hill ISD is committed to safeguarding student privacy. All educational software and digital tools used in our classrooms must go through a district-level review and approval process to ensure they meet federal and state data privacy standards.
We work closely with vendors to ensure they comply with laws such as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Our goal is to protect student information while still providing access to high-quality digital learning resources.
The Office of Educational Technology provides more information for parents.
Technology Support Services provides district-wide help desk support, assists with desktop applications, and facilitates repairs for student and staff devices. The team also troubleshoots audio/visual equipment and other technology used across campuses.
The Infrastructure Services team is responsible for maintaining all wired and wireless networks, internet connectivity, and wide area network (WAN) services. They also manage phones, web content filtering, access control, cybersecurity, and the district’s bell, clock, and PA systems.
The Instructional Technology team works closely with educators to integrate technology into instruction. They provide training, resources, and professional development to support effective use of digital tools. The team also helps manage classroom tech deployment and ensures equitable access for all students and staff.
