LHISD offers employees a variety of paid and unpaid protective leaves to take care of personal matters.  

Employees are required to use paid leave when missing work.  If there are not sufficient paid leave days to cover the entire absence, the employee will be on leave without pay status.  Accrual balances are available through Employee Skyward Accounts.  Please contact the payroll department with questions regarding accrual balances and state and local days.
